About the role
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with engineering hiring managers to develop tailored hiring strategies
- Develop technical fluency across engineering domains to source and screen candidates
- Proactively source top engineering talent through creative outreach and talent community development
- Design and refine interview processes to increase selection confidence and reduce bias
- Collaborate with leaders on informed closing strategies
- Serve as a brand ambassador for K2's mission and talent brand
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally with engineering or technical roles
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to build trusted relationships with candidates and senior hiring partners
- Ability to operate with high autonomy in a fast-moving environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting across mechanical, electrical, systems, or software engineering
- Aerospace, defense, or hard tech industry background
- Experience in organizations with ITAR or OFCCP compliance requirements
- Track record in high-velocity, high-growth companies
- Experience coaching senior leaders on hiring decisions
- Success in developing unconventional sourcing strategies
