General Matter enriches uranium. We are designing, building, and operating the world’s lowest-cost enrichment services, here in the US, to restore America’s ability to produce nuclear fuel for AI, advanced manufacturing, and critical industries.

Responsibilities

• Own the full-cycle recruitment process for technical and operational roles, from intake to closing
• Act as a key business partner to leaders and hiring managers by providing market insights and refining interview processes
• Conduct thorough initial interviews to assess ability, excellence, and cultural alignment
• Build and maintain high-volume recruiting pipelines using metrics to identify bottlenecks
• Develop workforce development partnerships with trade schools, technical colleges, and universities
• Plan and attend community events, school visits, and technical talks to build local presence
• Design and execute sourcing strategies including referrals, cold outreach, and targeted campaigns
• Manage process improvement initiatives and coordinate onsite interviews

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of recruiting experience (or equivalent experience levels as specified)
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities with autonomy
• High bar for personal accountability and attention to detail
• Strong judgment and discretion with sensitive information
• Willingness to attend local events and build community relationships in the Paducah region
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed
• Must be onsite full-time in Los Angeles

Preferred Qualifications

• Success hiring for skilled trades, manufacturing, or construction roles (e.g., electricians, welders)
• Full lifecycle recruiting experience in high-volume environments
• Expertise in non-standard recruiting methods like cold calling and networking events
• Deep motivation by the mission to restore U.S. fuel enrichment capabilities
