About the role

fab2 is an early-stage hardware startup founded by Sam Zeloof and Jim Keller. The team designs and builds all the hardware and software needed to make chips, including the fabs, tools, and components themselves.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full recruiting life cycle for deeply technical engineering roles in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Source creatively and strategically to engage top talent across diverse markets
  • Maintain the company bar for passion and curiosity to scale a positive maker culture
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and executives to define hiring criteria and calibrate roles
  • Deliver an exceptional and genuine candidate experience
  • Extend offers aligned with compensation philosophy, including startup equity structures

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience sourcing and closing candidates for highly technical engineering roles (hardware, software, semiconductor, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage full-cycle recruiting in high-growth environments
  • Proven excellence in candidate experience and closing strategies
  • Strong ability to partner with senior leadership and influence hiring decisions
  • Analytical, resourceful, and solutions-oriented approach

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in a startup
  • Experience with startup equity discussions and negotiations
  • Experience with Ashby and Notion
