About the Company

Etched is building hardware for frontier intelligence. We co-design chips, racks, software, and manufacturing to deliver best-in-class throughput and latency across both prefill and decode workloads. We are a fully in-person team in San Jose (Santana Row).

Responsibilities

• Own the full-cycle recruiting process from sourcing through offer
• Build strong partnerships with hiring managers and advocate for candidates and company needs
• Source candidates in unconventional places such as GitHub, arXiv, and Apache mailing lists
• Facilitate structured interview loops and lead debriefs with leadership
• Manage offers and closing processes in collaboration with the CEO
• Continuously improve recruiting systems, workflows, and candidate experience

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience recruiting technical talent in highly competitive markets
• Ability to evaluate technical depth and cultural fit with nuance
• Resourcefulness in finding exceptional candidates beyond standard platforms
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and build systems from scratch
• Deep care for candidate experience and operational excellence

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with the AI, semiconductor, or hardware engineering talent landscape
• Track record of hiring exceptional engineers in niche or emerging fields
