Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, feedback management, and offer negotiations
• Collaborate with hiring managers to develop and execute strategic hiring plans
• Proactively identify passive candidates through creative sourcing strategies and talent mapping
• Ensure a world-class candidate experience through every stage of the process
• Track key recruiting metrics to drive continual process optimization
• Partner with People Operations and cross-functional teams to support headcount planning and employer branding initiatives
• Represent Cursor at recruiting events and in the broader tech community

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience recruiting for technical roles
• Experience at a high-growth and talent dense startup
• Strategic over volume recruiting mindset
• Deep understanding of technical skills and market trends
• Proven ability to build consultative partnerships with hiring managers and senior leadership
• Excellent communication, organization, and candidate assessment skills
• Highly driven, self-starter with a data-driven mindset
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly scaling environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience recruiting for roles in AI, developer tools, or cybersecurity
• Previous experience with employer branding or diversity recruiting initiatives
