Responsibilities
- Own and close priority technical searches (backend, infrastructure/SRE, and data engineering) full-cycle
- Partner directly with engineering leadership to run calibrated searches
- Manage calibrated scorecards and live pipelines for all assigned searches
- Drive fast-moving structured hiring loops with rapid feedback
- Act as a consultative partner to hiring managers, providing evidence-based push-back to maintain high bars
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience (software, infrastructure, or ML)
- Proven track record of closing top-tier candidates against strong competitors
- Ability to work onsite five days a week in the San Francisco office
- Data proficiency to diagnose recruiting funnels by root cause
- AI-native mindset with a willingness to experiment with new tools and methods
- High content-to-word ratio in communication (plain, honest, and proactive)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting for high-growth, high-bar engineering organizations
- Ability to learn complex technical businesses and sell them fluently
