Technical Project Manager/IT Infrastructure Engineer

About the Company

Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Management and delivery of IT infrastructure projects and change requests in data centers
• Proactively identify and manage resolution of technical and operational issues
• Managing risks and dependencies in live environments
• Maintain clear operational documentation, including plans, risk logs, and issue trackers
• Lead communication with all stakeholders, providing regular progress updates and managing expectations
• Lead meetings and technical discussions with a focus on decision-making and timely execution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data center engineers, vendors, and operations teams
• Participate in automation, process improvements, and design support

Requirements

• Proven experience in data center infrastructure operations, preferably in high-performance or AI-oriented environments
• Solid understanding of data center design and operations: racking, cabling, power planning, and cooling
• Hands-on experience working with IT hardware in data centers
• Experience in project delivery, team management, and cross-team collaboration
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues in an IT stack
• Ability to document processes and produce clear deployment reports
• Willingness to travel occasionally for business

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with structured project management frameworks like PRINCE2, PMI, or Agile
• Relevant technical certifications
• In-depth technical knowledge of GPU servers, compute nodes, and high-speed networking
