Technical Project Manager, Telecom

Responsibilities

• Translate business objectives into structured delivery approaches, defining workstreams, milestones, and governance
• Support target solution development by identifying planning assumptions, technical dependencies, and decision points
• Translate architecture and engineering decisions into executable work packages and realistic delivery plans
• Coordinate architects, engineers, vendors, and project teams to maintain delivery alignment
• Maintain project plans, risks, assumptions, dependencies, and status reporting
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across network, infrastructure, security, and engineering teams
• Monitor project financials, resource requirements, and capacity planning
• Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, and technical reviews
• Develop integrated project schedules highlighting critical paths and mitigation strategies
• Ensure adherence to delivery methodologies, quality standards, and compliance requirements
• Support transition-to-operations activities including knowledge transfer and service acceptance

Requirements

• 8+ years of project or program management experience in telecom networks or digital infrastructure
• Experience planning and mobilizing projects with evolving scope or roadmaps
• Experience building delivery plans for complex engineering or infrastructure projects
• Practical understanding of telecom and network infrastructure
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale transformation, network modernization, or cloud migration
• Experience managing multiple workstreams, vendors, and geographically distributed teams
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, or Smartsheet
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or SAFe are highly desirable
