Technical Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, to maintain team productivity.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring all milestones are met and dependencies are proactively addressed.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to clarify technical requirements and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders through clear reporting and presentations.
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.
• Identify and remove blockers while facilitating seamless cross-functional collaboration.
• Leverage AI-driven tools and modern prototyping approaches to accelerate problem-solving and innovation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience managing complex technical projects from initiation through delivery.
• Strong knowledge of data engineering and Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence (ML/AI) concepts.
• Deep understanding of Scrum methodology and experience acting as a Scrum Master.
• Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools including Jira, Confluence, and MS Project.
• Solid grasp of data engineering fundamentals, including ETL processes, data pipelines, and relational databases.
• Exceptional ability to translate technical details into business language for senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience managing data projects and technology rollouts for platforms such as Snowflake, Alteryx, and Tableau.
• Exposure to AI-driven project management or automation tools.
• Openness to creative approaches like vibe coding for rapid prototyping.
