Technical Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and ensure timely completion of discrete technical project scope
• Manage technical requirements, deliverables, budgets, schedules, and risks
• Lead project teams in planning, tracking, and executing scope from initiation through turnover
• Align project activities with Triad prime contract and NNSA requirements
• Oversee day-to-day administrative and operational management within assigned program areas
• Develop, implement, and evaluate policies, procedures, and standards
• Assist in the development and monitoring of program budgets
• Provide technical guidance to project teams, support departments, and matrixed resources

Requirements

• Prior nuclear experience is required due to DOE Hazard Category 2 facility environment
• Bachelor’s degree plus minimum twelve years related DOE nuclear experience, or equivalent combination
• US citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous DOE or NNSA experience managing D&D, construction, testing, and turnover in a nuclear environment
• Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) as a Control Account Manager
• Experience working under DOE O 413.3B requirements and Critical Decisions (CDs)
• Experience with Technical Independent Project Review (TIPR), Independent Cost Estimate (ICE), and Annual Project Review (APR)
• Experience in work control, hazard management, radiological activities, or quality assurance
• Experience resolving complex technical and regulatory issues within an NQA-1 program
