About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and ensure the timely completion of discrete technical project scopes within a nuclear environment.
- Define and oversee project deliverables, budgets, schedules, and risks.
- Lead project teams in planning, tracking, and executing scope from initiation through turnover.
- Manage project activities in alignment with Triad prime contract and NNSA requirements.
- Organize activities into control accounts and work packages to satisfy programmatic needs.
- Provide technical guidance to project teams, support departments, and matrixed resources.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate policies, procedures, and standards.
Requirements
- Prior nuclear experience is required due to the DOE Hazard Category 2 environment.
- Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of twelve years of related DOE nuclear experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- US citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), such as serving as a Control Account Manager.
- Experience working under DOE O 413.3B requirements, including Critical Decisions (CDs) and associated review processes.
- Experience managing D&D, construction, testing, and turnover in a nuclear environment.
- Experience in work control, hazard management, radiological/operational activities, or quality assurance.
- Experience resolving complex technical and regulatory issues within an NQA-1 program.
