Technical Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Represent Grantek at local client sites in the Portland area to build relationships and identify new opportunities
• Evaluate project opportunities and develop technical proposals including scope, budgets, and timelines
• Manage project activities from conception through commissioning, including scheduling and resource coordination
• Contribute hands-on to PlantPAx DCS development, including configuration of process objects and alarm management
• Develop and maintain PLC/PAC programs in Studio 5000 Logix Designer
• Configure HMI and SCADA visualization using FactoryTalk View SE or other platforms
• Communicate project status and milestones to clients and internal stakeholders
• Commission new solutions at client sites and identify follow-on work
• Create engineering documentation, design traceability, and case studies

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer, Chemical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering or related degree
• Hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation PlantPAx DCS and Studio 5000 Logix Designer
• Understanding of process control fundamentals like PID loop tuning and batch sequencing
• Strong interpersonal and technical communication skills for client-facing work
• Valid Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle
• Willingness to travel 15% – 30% across USA and Canada

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Inductive Automation’s Ignition platform (Vision & Perspective)
• Familiarity with PlantPAx process objects, alarm management, and batch control
