Technical Project Manager (Data/AI)

Responsibilities

• Manage resource allocation, project scope, roles, responsibilities, and project timelines
• Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget
• Assist in defining project scope and objectives while ensuring technical feasibility
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using verification techniques
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Facilitate collaboration between Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Engineers, and Business Stakeholders
• Translate business problems into technical data requirements and maintain documentation
• Act as a translator between technical data metrics and business success metrics
• Resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle and provide consistent updates to stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or related field
• At least 5 years of experience as a Business/System Analyst, Data Scientist, or related Technical Product role
• Proficiency in SQL for data exploration
• Experience with visualization and dashboard tools
• Experience managing data or software development projects
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
• Ability to manage expectations regarding R&D uncertainty and model accuracy
• Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of hypothesis testing for experiment planning
• Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, data pipelines, CI/CD, and MLOps workflows
• Hands-on experience with Agile development adapted for Data Science
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
