Technical Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Stand up and run program management by defining milestones, owning timelines, and managing sprint/roadmap execution
• Manage supplier relationships at Tier-1 and Tier-2 levels, holding partners accountable to schedule and quality
• Serve as the primary customer contact for Japanese OEMs, translating requirements into engineering work
• Coordinate across internal and external teams to align technical roadmaps and unblock dependencies
• Drive issues to closure through independent problem-solving and decision-making

Requirements

• 5+ years in technical project management or engineering within the automotive industry
• Experience at an OEM or Tier-1 supplier
• Proven supplier management experience
• Strong customer-facing presence with executive stakeholders
• Technical depth in embedded systems, middleware, or ADAS
• Native Japanese and fluent English
• Ability to build program structures from scratch

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a startup or high-growth environment
• Familiarity with automotive standards such as ASPICE, ISO 26262, or AUTOSAR
• Background in series production programs or SDS/ADAS platform delivery
