Technical Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead AI projects technically from inception to deployment
• Act as the primary technical contact for cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Build technical project plans covering resource allocation, dependencies, and risk assessments
• Assess technical feasibility of AI solutions and recommend architecture and tech stacks
• Collaborate with ML/NLP architects and engineers to ensure proper implementation
• Define technical standards, best practices, and methodologies for AI projects
• Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews
• Monitor project progress and address technical debt and bottlenecks
• Mentor junior technical team members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field
• PMP or equivalent certification
• At least 8 years of software development/engineering experience
• 4+ years leading AI/ML projects in a technical capacity
• Deep understanding of AI/ML, including LLMs, NLP, and computer vision
• Experience with RAG, vector databases, and embedding models
• Proficiency in Python or other AI-relevant programming languages
• Familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes
• Experience with Agile tools like Jira and IBM EWM
