Technical Project Leader

Responsibilities

• Act as the main technical interface between customers (OEMs) and serial production throughout the project lifecycle
• Analyze customer needs to define product specifications, design concepts, and feasibility
• Manage design for manufacturing, including injection molding, painting, assembly, and plant constraints
• Lead risk analysis (DFMEA), design reviews, and product validation (functional, geometrical, and cosmetic)
• Define, develop, and validate tooling such as injection molds and test equipment
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including design, validation, tooling, and materials
• Manage project scope, engineering deliverables, milestones, and development budgets
• Drive the industrialization transition and troubleshoot technical issues during production ramp-up

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mechanical or Plastics Engineering
• 5–10 years of experience in automotive plastic parts development
• Strong expertise in plastic design, injection molding, materials, and GD&T
• Proven experience in technical project management and cross-functional coordination
• Fluent in both English and German
• Willingness to travel as required
