Technical Program Manager, Supply Chain

About the Company

GITAI is a space robotics company working to reduce the cost of work in space by 100x. The company develops robotic systems for orbital, lunar, and defense applications, focusing on assembly, inspection, maintenance, and construction in environments where human labor is impractical.

Responsibilities

• Own supplier-facing execution for assigned space defense programs, including RFQs, purchase orders, and delivery tracking.
• Negotiate supplier terms including payment, delivery, cancellation, IP, and liability to protect GITAI.
• Review supplier quotes and commercial proposals to identify risks.
• Work with engineering and program leadership to translate technical needs into executable supplier actions.
• Support procurement in export-controlled environments, ensuring ITAR/EAR compliance.
• Maintain visibility into open POs, supplier commitments, and lead times.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, supply chain management, manufacturing, or operations management.
• Experience in procurement, supplier management, or supply chain within hardware, aerospace, defense, or robotics.
• Experience in an early-stage startup environment.
• Experience supporting U.S. government, defense, or aerospace programs.
• Working knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and export-controlled environments.
• Experience negotiating supplier-facing terms and commercial risk.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with FAR, DFARS, or government contract flow-downs.
• Experience with SBIR, OTA, or prime/subcontractor relationships.
• Knowledge of CNC, PCBA, harnesses, or machined parts procurement.
