Technical Program Manager - Product Operations

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, qualification, optimization, and production ramp of new process technology and equipment for Apple products
• Drive contract manufacturer preparation for pre-production builds
• Oversee production process development, documentation, optimization, and validation
• Implement new technologies to improve production quality, capacity, and efficiency
• Provide direction, mentorship, and resources to engineering groups, project leaders, and factory technicians
• Act as lead engineer on various projects, participating in the planning of major sub-projects
• Perform manufacturing engineering functions including Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Product Engineering, and Process Engineering
• Conduct failure and data analysis using Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical analysis to recommend product design changes

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in engineering and manufacturing
• Validated experience supporting new product launches from concept to mass production
• Solid understanding of DFM, DOE, and SPC techniques
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) and Manufacturing Operations
• Direct experience leading functional engineering teams (ME, EE, TE, DFX, etc.)
• Experience working with international OEM partners
• Proven track record in cost reduction, project management, and engineering design
• Experience working in a matrix organization
• Understanding of tolerance stack ups and GD&T principles
• Proficiency with JMP, Minitab, and Six Sigma methodologies
• Master's degree in a relevant field
