Technical Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of cryomechanical and quantum system integration programs from R&D through prototype delivery
• Build and maintain program plans including timelines, owners, dependencies, critical paths, budgets, and deliverables
• Conduct critical path analysis, identify bottlenecks, and communicate risks
• Coordinate work across hardware, cryomechanical, systems engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and finance teams
• Support supply chain and component management, including long-lead items and BOM readiness
• Support BOM, PLM, documentation, change control, and configuration management activities
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI), production ramp, and customer support readiness
• Coordinate certification activities for equipment including FCC, CE, and UL
• Provide clear reporting on program status, risks, and overall delivery health

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in technical program management within complex hardware, semiconductor, scientific equipment, or cryogenic systems
• Strong understanding of scientific or semiconductor equipment assembly, manufacturing, and integration processes
• Experience with mechanical and electrical manufacturing processes, suppliers, and contract manufacturers
• Experience with supply chain, component management, BOM structures, and PLM systems
• Experience with NPI, production ramp, and customer support readiness
• Highly organized and able to coordinate work across multiple teams and dependencies
• Strong communication and leadership skills to drive accountability in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cryogenic systems, quantum hardware, or scientific instrumentation
• Experience managing certification processes for complex equipment (FCC, CE, UL)
• Experience working with international suppliers and outsourced manufacturing partners
