Technical Program Manager, Data Operations

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end data and annotation operations including intake, estimation, scheduling, and QA
• Align stakeholders on goals, success criteria, and technical requirements
• Coordinate with engineering and data science/ML teams to facilitate trade-offs and resource estimation
• Manage external annotation suppliers, including onboarding, label guides, and delivery tracking
• Provide clear status updates, risk tracking, and issue management across internal teams and partners
• Support and troubleshoot internal self-serve users across the annotation toolchain
• Drive continuous improvement in intake, ticketing, and reporting processes

Requirements

• 3+ years in program, delivery, or operations coordination (TPM or similar)
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to navigate ambiguity
• Technical fluency to coordinate with engineers and ML/Data Science teams
• Proactive risk and issue management with a focus on structured execution
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
• Systems thinking and product-minded approach to outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data operations or annotation/labeling workflows
• Experience with external vendor or supplier management
• Proficiency with Jira and workflow automation
• Exposure to ML/data pipelines, autonomy, or robotics
