Responsibilities

  • Own multiple concurrent BESS and utility scale projects at different lifecycle stages simultaneously
  • Maintain detailed program plans including scope, schedule, budget tracking, risk registers, and milestone accountability
  • Coordinate across internal engineering, procurement, production, field ops, and logistics to sequence work
  • Own risk identification and mitigation across all active programs and drive resolution
  • Manage external partners, subcontractors, and equipment vendors to contractual milestones
  • Build and maintain program infrastructure including tracking systems, reporting, and success metrics
  • Translate complex technical and schedule realities into clear communication for customers and stakeholders
  • Identify patterns across projects to improve future scoping and planning

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience owning multiple complex, customer-facing programs from kickoff through delivery
  • Ability to sequence work across engineering, procurement, operations, and external vendors
  • Experience managing customer and external partner relationships directly
  • Ability to maintain detailed program schedules with real dependency logic
  • Experience managing external vendors and subcontractors to contractual commitments
  • Comfort operating in hardware and field deployment contexts (commissioning, site logistics)
  • Ability to build program structures and processes from scratch
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in commercial energy, infrastructure, or manufacturing
  • Experience managing programs spanning hardware development and field execution
  • Familiarity with supply chain constraints in physical product companies
  • Experience with utility interconnection processes or NTP-to-energization workflows
  • Experience with BESS projects at utility scale (10MW+) or C&I scale
  • Familiarity with EPC contract structures and change order management
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification
  • Experience in a startup environment
