Technical Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Own government-related program execution from concept to completion, including R&D efforts and multi-spacecraft missions
• Develop and communicate program schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure successful delivery
• Lead the risk management process, including documentation, mitigation tracking, and risk closure
• Serve as the primary customer interface for government programs, leading design reviews and milestone reporting
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and mission assurance teams to ensure alignment on requirements and design
• Drive technical trade analyses and decision-making to resolve complex mission constraints
• Oversee the preparation of system documentation and operational manuals for handover and sustainment
• Support the scaling of USG program execution frameworks and cross-functional processes

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in engineering, physics, or a related technical discipline
• 7+ years of program or project management experience within aerospace or space systems
• Experience with U.S. Government contracts and customer interactions
• U.S. Citizenship; must be eligible to obtain a TS/SCI Security Clearance
• Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence Polygraph
• Proven ability to manage complex technical programs in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of National Security and Civil Space organizations and programs
• Systems engineering experience including requirements definition, verification, and validation
• Experience with cost account management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, or MS Project
• Familiarity with mission operations, ground planning, and CONOPS development
• Experience with optical or RF payloads, payload integration, and spacecraft AI&T
