About the role
Responsibilities
- Stand up and run program management by defining milestones, owning timelines, and managing sprint/roadmap execution for software development teams.
- Manage supplier relationships at Tier-1 and Tier-2 levels, holding partners accountable to schedule and quality commitments.
- Serve as the primary customer contact for EMEA OEMs, translating requirements into engineering work and providing structured updates.
- Coordinate across internal and external teams to align technical roadmaps and unblock cross-team dependencies.
- Drive issues to closure by owning problem-solving and decision-making across various teams and sites.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management or engineering within the automotive industry (OEM or Tier-1 experience preferred).
- Proven experience in supplier management, specifically holding Tier-1 and Tier-2 partners accountable.
- Technical depth in embedded systems, middleware, or ADAS to engage credibly with engineering teams.
- Strong customer-facing presence with the ability to represent the company to executive stakeholders.
- Fluent in both German and English.
- Based in Stuttgart or willing to relocate to the area.
- A builder mindset with the ability to create program structure from scratch in a fast-moving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Familiarity with automotive development standards such as ASPICE, ISO 26262, or AUTOSAR.
- Background in series production programs or SDS/ADAS platform delivery.
