About the role
Responsibilities
- Track products across the full lifecycle from R&D concept through EVT, DVT, PVT, and production transfer
- Create and maintain Product Requirements Documents (PRD) and Statements of Work (SOW)
- Translate customer requirements into internal performance targets and CTQ parameters
- Monitor technical progress and identify gaps between R&D and Engineering
- Interpret lithium-ion cell characterization and test data to assess performance and safety
- Own program schedules, milestone tracking, and risk registers for NPI programs
- Manage milestone gate execution through to PPAP completion
- Prepare and deliver regular program status updates and technical reports to customers and leadership
- Maintain technical alignment with contract manufacturers and suppliers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related technical field
- 5+ years of program or project management experience in hardware or manufacturing
- Experience managing NPI or product qualification programs
- Experience working directly with contract manufacturers and suppliers
- Working knowledge of lithium-ion cell testing (electrochemical characterization, cycle life, safety testing)
- Familiarity with lithium-ion cell manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in project management tools like Asana or Microsoft Project
- Korean language fluency is preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP or Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Background in battery, electrochemical device, or energy storage development
- Familiarity with PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, and AS9100 or ISO 9001 frameworks
- Experience in defense, aerospace, or electric aviation programs
