Technical Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage all phases of the project lifecycle, including defining success criteria, governance plans, and communication strategies.
• Collaborate with senior business leaders, development teams, and application security engineering teams to improve security posture.
• Architect and manage internal scope of work documents, ensuring all stakeholders are held accountable to timelines and deliverables.
• Guide the evolution and adoption of internal security support solutions and prioritize work beneficial to Amazon builders.
• Use software system design knowledge to scope architecture, review threat models, and guide remediation of security findings.
• Define and implement best practice methods, processes, and tools to scale Amazon’s security guidance and builder support.
• Proactively identify and manage program risks, escalating issues when necessary to ensure successful delivery.

Requirements

• 3+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management.
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
• 5+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working directly with security teams.
