Technical Program Engineer

Responsibilities

• Review manufacturers’ catalogs and selection software for compliance with AMCA publications
• Liaise with member company marketing departments to ensure the integrity of technical marketing information
• Participate in Standards Development by working with engineering committees to develop ANSI-accredited test standards
• Support laboratory accreditation activities, including visiting manufacturer laboratories to evaluate testing capabilities
• Utilize data analysis, automation, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to improve technical review processes and operational efficiency
• Assist in developing automated workflows and AI-assisted tools for catalog review and test data analysis
• Promote AMCA programs and communicate effectively with members and industry professionals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 10+ years of professional experience
• Direct experience with HVAC systems and selection processes
• High proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with technical professionals at all levels
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 5-10%)
