Technical Production Control Professional I

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 L2 production environment support, including batch execution and continuous system availability
• Monitor applications and batches to identify abnormalities and report them to relevant teams
• Utilize Control-M scheduler to manage tasks independently with minimal supervision
• Handle multiple production cycles in parallel and prioritize failures effectively
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless deliverables
• Manage P1/P2 incidents, troubleshooting environmental issues and performing RCA documentation
• Support business continuity and service assurance through effective incident, problem, and change management

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in the banking domain
• Hands-on experience with JCL, VSAM, COBOL, and IBM Mainframe utilities
• Proficiency with Control-M, CA7/11, and REXX
• Operational knowledge of Mainframes, OPS/MVS, z/OS, TSO, and Console
• Knowledge of Vision Plus is required
• ITIL Foundation level or equivalent certification
• Flexibility to work in a 24/7 shift rotation and on-demand schedules
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of region build and data downsize processes
• Experience with REXX, CICS, Storage, and DASD
