Technical Product Specialist - Lighting

Responsibilities

• Interpret production designs and translate them into technical lighting system layouts
• Create detailed equipment lists, signal flow diagrams, and deployment plans
• Collaborate with sales, project managers, and engineering to ensure accurate pre-production planning
• Consult with design and structure engineers to provide solutions for special project layouts
• Assist sales teams by creating and building quotes and pullsheets
• Collaborate with outside vendors for engineered solution rentals
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues under time-critical conditions
• Develop and implement standardized quality control processes for lighting systems
• Assist with the development and deployment of lighting-related training programs

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with lighting systems in live event production
• Proficiency in Vectorworks
• Proficiency in Rental Management Systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Deep knowledge of lighting equipment, operation, and principles
• Strong project management, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to work independently under extreme pressure and tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and consultative communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
