Technical Product Publications Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create documentation and training materials for complex Virtual Prototyping tools and methodologies
• Develop GUI-based procedures and lab exercises based on real-time use cases
• Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and design teams to gather technical inputs and review feedback
• Maintain documentation to ensure it remains in sync with the latest tool versions
• Adhere to the Synopsys Style Guide and use JIRA for tracking documentation changes and requests
• Utilize AI-driven setups and automation to assist in editing XML documents

Requirements

• B.Tech, B.Sc, or MCA in Computer Science
• Basic programming knowledge and entry-level experience in technical documentation (user manuals, developer guides, etc.)
• Strong command of written English with high attention to grammar, structure, and clarity
• Hands-on experience authoring in DITA XML and comfort working directly with XML code
• Familiarity with software development life cycles (SDLC) and document development life cycles
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oxygen Author or similar structured authoring tools
• Background in EDA (Electronic Design Automation), semiconductor, or technical software documentation
• Experience using JIRA for issue tracking
