About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain a high-quality backlog for the Matching Tech Team
  • Translate product discussions and technical concepts into user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
  • Break down complex initiatives into executable units of work, identifying dependencies and sequencing
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and production issue triage
  • Develop initial proposals for dashboards, workflows, and operational tooling
  • Work with operations users to gather feedback and validate workflows
  • Support investigation efforts using SQL and system knowledge

Requirements

  • Minimum three years of experience as a Technical Product Owner, Product Analyst, or Systems Analyst in a software engineering environment
  • Strong experience translating technical requirements into user stories and development tasks
  • Proven experience with Jira, including backlog management and story decomposition
  • Experience working with engineering teams on APIs, workflows, and data-driven platforms
  • Proficiency in SQL and comfort working with data models and structured datasets
  • Experience creating workflows, diagrams, wireframes, or dashboards
  • Experience working in Agile environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in music publishing, music rights, or metadata systems
  • General experience in the music industry
