Technical Product Owner

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of AI-enabled and cloud-native enterprise platform capabilities.
• Define and evolve the product vision for 401(k), IRA, and retirement plan administration capabilities.
• Own and manage the product backlog, including writing detailed Epics, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria for retirement workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering on API design, microservices architecture, and system interoperability with custodians and payroll providers.
• Lead Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release readiness.
• Engage with business stakeholders to align expectations across retirement operations, compliance, and client-facing teams.
• Define product success metrics and KPIs to drive data-informed decision-making.

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of product management or product ownership experience.
• Deep domain experience in the Retirement / IPA / 401(k) industry.
• Proven experience with SaaS platforms and cloud-native architectures.
• Proficiency in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
• Solid understanding of APIs, REST services, microservices, and system integrations.
• Working knowledge of SQL and cloud platforms.
• Strong ability to lead Agile teams and manage complex technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI-powered platforms, generative AI, or workflow automation.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and enterprise digital transformation.
• Professional certifications such as CSPO, PSPO, or SAFe PO/PM.
• Experience working in a consulting or client-facing delivery environment.
