Technical Product Owner

Responsibilities

• Lead applications systems analysis and programming activities to implement new or revised application systems.
• Partner with management teams to define system enhancements, deploy new products, and drive process improvements.
• Translate high-level business features into detailed system impacts and designs using deep business process knowledge.
• Lead complex projects across multiple teams using Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Provide expertise in modern software architecture, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), and microservices/API transformation.
• Serve as an advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary.
• Ensure application design adheres to overall architecture blueprints and industry standards.
• Assess and manage risk to safeguard the firm's reputation and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in Applications Development or a systems analysis role.
• Extensive experience in systems analysis and software programming.
• Proven experience managing and implementing successful technical projects.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development.
• Exposure to Credit Card capabilities and business processes.
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Openshift, GCP) and data engineering.
