Technical Product Owner

Albers Aerospace provides cutting-edge solutions and support to warfighters, specializing in systems engineering, program management, logistics, and aircraft maintenance. The company is reimagining knowledge work by building AI systems to automate internal business processes end to end.

Responsibilities

• Own discovery and requirements gathering with stakeholders to translate business needs into prioritized backlogs
• Rapidly produce first-draft implementations using AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code
• Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for automation and AI-driven improvements
• Design, build, and maintain internal business applications for Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and Operations
• Collaborate with senior software engineers on technical approaches and code reviews
• Develop integrations between internal applications, ERP systems, databases, and APIs
• Work with IT and Cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with security requirements and CUI handling

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field, or equivalent practical experience
• 3-5 years of experience in a product owner, product manager, or technical program manager role
• Demonstrated technical adjacency in SQL, scripting, or web development
• AI-native workflow experience using AI-assisted development tools
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior hands-on coding experience with Ruby on Rails or Python
• Domain knowledge of ERP systems or enterprise business software
• Experience deploying applications on Microsoft Azure
• Experience building AI-powered tools, agents, or automated workflows
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-171 and handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)
