About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end intake, gathering, and management of internal customer requirements for enterprise applications and platforms
- Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points, and desired outcomes
- Facilitate discovery sessions, including workshops, process mapping, and interviews, to capture requirements
- Document and validate functional and non-functional requirements such as security, access controls, and performance
- Translate requirements into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria that are clear and delivery-ready
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog and lead refinement sessions to ensure items remain actionable
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, UX, QA, and security teams to confirm technical feasibility and constraints
- Manage scope, tradeoffs, and stakeholder expectations while balancing customer value with risk and technical debt
- Establish traceability from requirements through delivery and validate outcomes through UAT support and demos
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role supporting enterprise or internal systems
- Demonstrated success gathering requirements from diverse stakeholders and translating them into Agile-ready artifacts
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum delivery teams and managing backlogs in Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
- Strong analytical and prioritization skills with the ability to make decisions in ambiguous environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting complex processes clearly
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency using common project and development tools such as Jira, Visio, Lucid, or Microsoft Suite
- Familiarity with enterprise integration concepts including APIs, data flows, and identity/access management
- Experience with governance, risk, and compliance requirements such as audit readiness and data privacy
