About the role
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate a clear vision and strategic roadmap for employee lifecycle management, access governance, and IAM initiatives
- Lead efforts to automate onboarding, offboarding, and access provisioning workflows across systems like Okta, Workday, and Google Workspace
- Implement and enhance access governance processes, including periodic access reviews, policy management, and compliance tracking
- Drive the adoption of modern IAM models (RBAC/ABAC), federated identity solutions, and self-service capabilities
- Oversee integration with cloud providers (AWS, GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and secrets management tools
- Serve as the primary liaison between engineering, security, IT, HR, and business stakeholders to prioritize features and align on execution
- Define and track success metrics such as automation coverage and reduction in manual support requests
Requirements
- 4-7 years of technical product management experience
- Proven experience with employee lifecycle management, access governance, and IAM systems
- Deep understanding of IAM concepts, including authentication (LDAP, SSO, MFA) and authorization protocols (RBAC, ABAC)
- Hands-on knowledge of Okta, Active Directory, and Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOC2, HIPAA, ISO27001, NIST, or GDPR
