Technical Product Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical selection and evaluation of new hardware and software products, defining requirements and qualifying suppliers.
• Manage the full product lifecycle, including phase-in, phase-out, stock prioritization, and portfolio optimization.
• Manage technical supplier relationships, including claims, warranties, and non-conformities.
• Oversee product quality and buildability through Quality Management processes and field monitoring.
• Maintain technical documentation such as data sheets, certifications, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Drive go-to-market strategies for new products, including sales network enablement.
• Provide technical training to Sales, Operations, and installers.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for the Italian market (e.g., RAEE, PILE, certifications) and alignment with incentive schemes.
• Produce product reporting, including profitability and monthly business reviews.

Requirements

• 4–6+ years of experience in technical or product roles within the energy systems sector (PV, heat pumps, storage).
• Deep knowledge of industry hardware and software, including regulations and certifications.
• Experience in project management and cross-functional stakeholder management.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Fluency in Italian (C1) and English (C1).

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering background (Energy, Electrical, or Mechanical).
• Experience in product launches and technical training.
