Bobyard Construction is transforming a $2T industry that currently relies on manual processes and outdated software. By using computer vision and NLP to automate cost estimation and takeoffs, we enable estimators to work 10x faster and with higher accuracy. We are backed by 8VC, Primary, and Pear.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for a model-powered product surface from customer problem to shipped feature
• Analyze eval reports and confusion matrices to collaborate deeply with CV engineers
• Make and defend accuracy, speed, and cost tradeoffs with engineering and customers
• Build and maintain evaluation sets to monitor model performance
• Translate ambiguous customer feedback into specific, testable model or UX fixes
• Work daily with CV and ML engineers as a technical peer

Requirements

• 4+ years in product management with direct ownership of model-powered features
• Fluency in model evaluation metrics including precision, recall, and false positive/negative tradeoffs
• Proven track record of shipping 0-to-1 or major iterations on ML/CV-driven B2B SaaS products
• Ability to act as the final authority on model viability for customers and executives
• Fast learner capable of gaining domain expertise in construction quickly
• High-velocity shipping mindset without heavy reliance on process

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience specifically in computer vision
• Background at companies such as Scale AI, Labelbox, Samsara, Matterport, Cape Analytics, or DroneDeploy
• Proficiency in Figma and ability to read code
