Technical Operator

Responsibilities

• Finalise localised film and entertainment content for international distribution, including graphics insertion, subtitling, and dubbed audio layback
• Encode and transcode files to broadcast, online, and DCP technical standards
• Edit TV spot cutdowns, social media clips, and promotional content
• Upload and download content via digital asset management platforms
• Perform frame rate conversions for worldwide broadcast systems
• Liaise with internal operations, client services, and external clients
• Deliver accurate outputs to tight deadlines while working under pressure
• Work independently on shift and solve problems proactively
• Take ownership of learning new workflows and technical processes

Requirements

• Capable using Adobe Premiere Pro independently
• Experience working with digital video formats, technical specifications, and encoding/transcoding
• Basic knowledge of online and broadcast video formats and deliverables
• Awareness of Adobe Media Encoder and Adobe Audition
• Ability to work independently on shift and to quick turnarounds
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Awareness of Clipster for DCP creation and packaging preferred
