Technical Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage a rotating team of cloud engineers to ensure continuous 24x7 coverage
• Act as Incident Resolution Owner for Severity-1 and Severity-2 infrastructure outages
• Monitor system health dashboards using Datadog and New Relic
• Ensure the team meets or exceeds Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Execute rigorous, documented handovers to incoming shifts
• Mentor junior engineers and manage shift scheduling

Requirements

• Proven experience managing infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Proficiency with Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus, or ELK stack
• Advanced knowledge of ITSM platforms like Jira Service Desk or ServiceNow
• Familiarity with Linux/Windows administration and Bash or Python scripting
• Strong understanding of deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of Data Pipelines
• Ability to work a rotating schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT
• 7+ years of experience in Cloud Support, NOC, or SRE environments
• 3+ years of experience in a team lead or supervisor capacity
• AWS SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator, or ITIL Foundation certifications
