Technical Operations Manager

About the Company

Antenna Group is a leading international content, media and entertainment organization, owning and operating a diverse portfolio of global media assets across a variety of platforms including Television, OTT, Digital, and Music throughout Europe, North America and Australia.

Responsibilities

• Own the availability, performance and stability of antenna.gr and associated digital properties
• Lead incident management, define SLAs/SLOs, and conduct post-mortems
• Oversee CDN strategy, video streaming pipelines, and adaptive bitrate (ABR) delivery
• Lead and develop a team of DevOps engineers, SREs, and technical operations specialists
• Manage live-streaming operations for TV broadcasts, sports events, and breaking news
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and oversee DRM systems and content protection
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for platform vendors and CDN providers
• Define observability standards including logging, metrics, alerting, and dashboards
• Drive cost optimization across cloud and CDN spend

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Technical Operations, DevOps, or SRE
• 2+ years in a leadership role
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field
• Proven experience with OTT streaming, digital media, or high-traffic platforms
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, containers, IaC, and CI/CD pipelines
• Solid knowledge of video streaming technologies and CDNs
• Experience with monitoring and observability platforms
• Fluency in Greek and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Strapi CMS and Google Cloud Platform
• Familiarity with TypeScript and NestJS
• Working knowledge of Python
• Understanding of modern API design (REST, GraphQL) and headless CMS architectures
