Technical Operations Analyst - Engineering

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and optimize Jira workflows, transitions, and automations to reduce manual work and enforce process consistency.
• Manage reliability and incident governance by reviewing incident data correctness and validating mitigation timelines.
• Monitor on-call ticket quality to ensure proper classification, timely closure, and accurate state transitions to improve MTTR.
• Build and maintain live dashboards in Jira and Tableau to provide real-time insights into reliability, SLAs, and ticket trends.
• Own centralized trackers for engineering programs and initiatives to ensure clarity on ownership and progress.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement automation-first solutions to drive operational excellence.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of relevant experience, ideally within a tech product startup.
• Engineering degree or an equivalent qualification from a reputed institution.
• Strong familiarity with Jira administration and workflow configuration.
• Expertise in working with data using SQL and Tableau.
• Solid understanding of the Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with high attention to detail.
