Technical Office Engineer (Civil)

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical submittals.
• Perform quantity take-offs (QTO) and assist in cost estimation and variation orders.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, consultants, and clients to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure all civil works comply with ADNOC standards, project specifications, and IFC drawings.
• Prepare method statements, material submittals, and technical documentation.
• Monitor project progress and support the planning team with technical inputs.
• Maintain proper documentation control and ensure all revisions are updated.
• Assist in the preparation of progress reports, RFIs, and technical correspondences.
• Support the procurement team with technical evaluation of materials and subcontractor submissions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in EPC Oil & Gas projects in the UAE.
• Mandatory experience working on ADNOC projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and engineering documentation systems.
• Strong understanding of civil construction methods including earthworks, concrete, and infrastructure works.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and report writing skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
