About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead production teams and provide resource management
- Resolve complex technical and design problems
- Coach and mentor Water Resources Designers and Project Engineers
- Design and produce civil engineering construction documents including site plans and utility profiles
- Prepare local and FEMA flood studies
- Perform storm drainage, culvert, and stormwater control measure design
- Manage site grading, earthworks, and sediment/erosion control design and permitting
- Coordinate with architects, landscape architects, contractors, and utility providers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering
- Texas PE license
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS Pro
- Experience with storm drainage modeling software (HEC-HMS, StormCAD, HydraFlow, etc.)
- Experience with flood modeling software (HEC-RAS)
- Technical expertise in site civil engineering related to stormwater and natural resources
