Technical Manager - Theme Park & Theming Projects

Responsibilities

• Manage the technical function throughout the project lifecycle, from design development through construction and handover
• Review and coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, and specialist theming drawings and technical submissions
• Manage the preparation and review of shop drawings, RFIs, material submittals, and engineering proposals
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, specialist subcontractors, and internal departments to resolve technical and constructability issues
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable standards, and contractual requirements
• Support construction teams by providing technical guidance during execution
• Review and assess value engineering proposals and alternative technical solutions
• Coordinate technical activities with Planning, Procurement, QA/QC, and Construction functions

Requirements

• Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering
• 15+ years of construction experience, including at least 5 years in a Technical Manager position
• Previous experience delivering theme park, theming, or large-scale entertainment projects is essential
• Experience in the GCC/UAE region is required
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design packages and technical deliverables
