Technical Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the technical department, including design coordination, engineering, BIM, and technical office teams
• Oversee the review and coordination of architectural, structural, MEP, and specialist subcontractor designs
• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical proposals
• Identify design clashes, technical issues, and constructability concerns
• Lead value engineering initiatives to optimize cost, quality, and project delivery
• Act as the primary technical interface with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities
• Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations and authority requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 17 years of experience in engineering and construction
• At least 10 years in a senior technical leadership role within leading contracting companies
• Extensive UAE/GCC experience is essential
• Proven experience delivering luxury villas, residential towers, and mixed-use developments
• Strong understanding of structural, architectural, and MEP design coordination
• Expertise in construction methodologies and buildability reviews
• Proficiency with BIM and digital construction tools
