Technical Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the process technical team to ensure production readiness and adherence to schedules.
• Manage technical staffing plans, including workforce planning, scheduling, and resource optimization.
• Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Provide continuous training, coaching, and performance evaluations for technical staff.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and operations leadership to optimize workflow and resource utilization.
• Ensure product quality by validating that all technical processes comply with established standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements to drive cost reduction, eliminate waste, and increase efficiency.
• Complete all required technical documentation, reports, and system entries accurately.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering or a technical equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years of technical leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Prior frontline leadership or supervisory experience in an industrial setting (e.g., Lead, Coordinator, or Supervisor).
• Thorough knowledge of equipment related to injection molding, blow molding, and/or profile extrusion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
