Technical Manager

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on laboratory research and technical bench work to advance projects
• Lead teams of Group Leaders and direct reports, fostering high morale and collaboration
• Ensure adherence to GMP/GLP standards and highest quality laboratory operations
• Manage operational excellence using tools for capacity planning and resource allocation
• Track key KPIs including quality, safety, training, and service metrics
• Oversee performance management, staff development, and recruitment for assigned areas
• Foster positive client relations and manage communications between clients and cross-functional groups
• Drive process improvement and cost-saving initiatives

Requirements

• M.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field with 3+ years of GMP/GLP laboratory experience, or a Ph.D. with 2+ years of relevant experience
• 2+ years of successful independent leadership experience, including managing schedules and reporting KPIs
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Strong scientific, organizational, and reasoning skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in solid dosage form formulation or pharmaceutical drug product development
