About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership to laboratory personnel in colour matching, quality control, and the selection of pigments and additives
  • Support manufacturing operations by improving production efficiency and troubleshooting processing issues
  • Deliver technical expertise and training to sales teams regarding colour concentrates and plastic processing applications
  • Partner with customers to develop customized colour concentrate solutions to drive business growth
  • Investigate customer complaints and product non-conformances, implementing corrective and preventive actions
  • Lead the development of new formulations and specialty products to meet evolving market requirements
  • Assess and qualify alternative raw materials to enhance product performance and cost effectiveness
  • Ensure products meet regulatory and customer compliance standards

Requirements

  • University degree in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • 10–15 years of experience in colour concentrates, additives, formulation development, and R&D
  • Strong expertise in colour theory, colour matching, pigments, additives, and polymer systems
  • Demonstrated experience supporting manufacturing operations and resolving processing challenges
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer relationship management skills
