Responsibilities

• Technical assessment of new assignments
• Verifying results based on raw data
• Developing, implementing, and improving analytical methods
• Ensuring the quality of equipment and used techniques
• Managing maintenance, calibration, and control of research resources
• Coaching and training analysts, including ensuring authorizations
• Ensuring a safe, clean, and motivating work environment
• Handling improvement measures within the quality system
• Leading an international team of 13 colleagues across 's-Gravenpolder and Manila

Requirements

• Completed education as a chemical analyst (MLO or HLO)
• Extensive experience with instrumental analytical techniques, specifically chromatography
• Proficiency with techniques such as GC-FID, GC-ECD, HS-GCMS, PTGCMS, GCMS/MS, HPLC-UV/FLU, and HPLC-UC-DAD
• Previous experience in team leadership
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize effectively
