Technical Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead AWS infrastructure, migration, and application modernization projects in corporate environments
• Design and validate cloud architectures aligned with the AWS Well-Architected Framework
• Define and supervise Infrastructure as Code strategies using Terraform and/or CloudFormation
• Build and evolve CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for secure deployments
• Manage technical teams of 5 to 20+ engineers through 1:1s, feedback, and career development plans
• Facilitate agile ceremonies including planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Act as a trusted technical point of contact for C-level banking clients
• Supervise cloud governance, security standards, monitoring, and business continuity
• Track engineering KPIs such as lead time, deployment frequency, and MTTR

Requirements

• 8+ years in technology with 4+ years in technical leadership or engineering management
• Solid production experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch)
• Proficiency in IaC with Terraform and/or CloudFormation
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline
• Experience leading technical teams in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban)
• Executive communication skills for presenting architectural decisions to non-technical audiences
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
• Mandatory AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional certification

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, Security Specialty, or SysOps Administrator certifications
• Experience with on-premises to AWS migrations (6R strategies)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, EKS, or OpenShift
• FinOps experience including Cost Explorer and tagging governance
• Experience with AI tool integration such as Bedrock or SageMaker
